Hi, I'm Linda and I've turned my passion about all things houses into what I do. I've spent my life reorganising rooms, sharing ideas with friends and staring at room layouts. I used to do this while working in IT project/programme/portfolio management. After moving on from that world and managing the work on our own 'project house', I now offer my own interior design services and want to share what I've learned. The social media side is a bit scary to me but I'm taking those steps regardless and I'd like to help you take brave steps too.

I'm organised, detailed, and passionate about helping people create comfortable rooms or daring spaces depending on the desire. I have experience with older and listed properties and can wax lyrical about the importance of good insulation and maintaining the charm and integrity of your home. I am certified with the British College of Interior Design.

Aside from design, I am a parkrunner through and through and responsible for giving life to Conyngham Hall parkrun in Knaresborough, an achievement about which I am very proud. I didn't do it alone of course, and that is true of all great creations, they are the result of working together.

 

I feel everyone should feel a quiet joy at coming home and your rooms and spaces should reflect who you are and how you live. They are for you, no-one else. They should bring you comfort, protection and uplift you. I don't aim to turn my design work into a big company. I am not the person to deliver schemes that exude status and wealth. I simply want to do what I enjoy, help others and show interior design services can be accessible for everyone and need not necessarily cost a lot of money.
